Blizzard, spear of wind and ice
Legend has it that Blizzard was created on the High Ice, for Pazhvann, by a great silver dragon. On first look the spear appears to be made of blue tinted glass with bands of white gold, but in actuality is made of ice diamond that was mined from the highest peak in Casmaron. It is said that when the dragon forged the spear that he captured a piece of the North Wind and bound it into the spear. At Fifteenth level, tier Six Blizzard is +3 frost holy spear with the following legendary powers.
Consecrated: The spear will reject the bonding of any evil creature or anyone who commits an evil act while bonded with it.
Legendary power: Blizzard grants its wielder 2 points of legendary power a day that can be used for surges on attack rolls with the spear or to activate one of its powers.
Knowledge of Ages: The north wind carries the voices of the ancestral spirits. Anyone bonded to the spear gains proficiency in it. Also as a swift action, the item’s bonded creature can expend one use of legendary power to gain a +20 insight bonus on the next Knowledge check she attempts.
Hyperboreal: While holding the spear you can walk on ice as if it were normal terrain and you can see normally in natural or magical rain, sleet, hail, fog, snowstorms, blizzards, and similar weather conditions.
Scrying Ice: a character bonded to blizzard can cast divination spells at +2 caster levels. The spear acts as a focus for any divination spells that require one.
Frozen Caress: Whenever the bearer casts a touch or range touch spell, she can infuse the magic with cold as a swift action. This grants the spell the cold descriptor, and adds 1d4 points of cold damage to the spell’s effect. If the touch spell allows a saving throw, a successful save negates this additional cold damage.
Holy Ice Javelin:You can fire an ice javelin from blizzard. You must succeed on attack rolls to hit the target with the javelin, using your base attack bonus + your Intelligence (or Wisdom) modifier. The javelin deals 1d6 piercing damage, plus 1d6 points of cold damage and 1d6 points of holy damage. You can use this power a number of times per day equal to your caster level.
Legend Lore: Once per day you can cast Legend Lore. You can recharge this ability by spending a mythic power.
Returning:The creature bonded to this item can expend one use of mythic power to teleport the item to her waiting hand, as if using teleport object. The item must be on the same plane as the bonded creature for this ability to function.
Resistance: The spear grants Resistance to Cold 15 when held.
